hello there fellow AE persons …. i hope someone can give me a little help. basically, i have a short animation in ae, which has a transparent background. i need to save it as an fla file for use in flash. however everytime i try to export it as an fla, AE quits on me before the export is complete. So i tried saving as a quicktime file (with rgb+) ..to keep the transparency) and then reexporting that quicktime file as an fla … which works …. however the animations has horrible grey pixels around the edge. really not lookin good!

    Anyone have any advice

    looks like a straight render

Just go to your render options and change the color menu to Premultiplied(matted). That should do it.

For mor informations check out Aharon Rabinowitz´s tutorial called: “Understanding Straight vs. Premultiplied” here on creativecow.net
