Exporting an EDL to use as a cut list
Hi. I’m working on a documentary project where half the
footage is archival. We are now going to lock picture and I
want to export an EDL to use as a cut list to order the
footage.Does anyone have a good method for exporting an EDL that
can be used in either Excel, Filemaker Pro (via an XML
export), or other software, that will allow me to
accurately view/check in and out points for clips.Thanks,

Select all clips in your open sequence and drag them to a bin.
Export the bin as a batch list and open in Excel.
