Exporting alpha channels
I am exporting some text on a transparent background from FCP and when I hit ‘save as’ it takes me to my save as window and ‘alpha channel’ is grayed out no matter what format i choose. I have 2 layers which i’ve flattened, then used to magic wand to select the background and deleted it, so it’s just texts sitting on a transparent background. How can I export this with alpha channels to preserve my transparent background? Thanks

Photoshop and FC work really well together. Try saving it with your transparent background as a .psd file and import it into final cut.
