  Exporting a Targa sequence from FCP+workflow?

  I’m doing an offline in a couple of days with some footage shot on the Sony EX-3, the online place is using an AVID and have asked for the sequence to be placed in a Targa sequence, firstly what’s the best way of performing this and what will be the best workflow aswell.

  Should I still transcode the XDcam EX footage into Prores 422 then export as a Targa, or do the cutting in XD Cam EX and miss out the transcode. Time is an issue as we need the offline done in 3hrs so any time saved would be good.

  Also are there any other methods people would recommend instead of a Targa sequence?
