Check the Aspect setting. Otherwise, please provide more information regarding the observed distortion. A screen capture would be helpful.

May 4, 2014 at 1:07 pmThank you for your prompt reply. The issue I have is that I shot the sequence in AVCHD and when I export it to H.264 at any frame rate (1280×720 for instance) it comes out fine. But the client wants it in .mov at 1280×720. When I choose to export it as a quick time file it changes automatically to 720×480. If I change that, say the width to 1280, it chamges the hight to 835 and if I change the hight to 720 it changes the with to 1820. Unless I unlink it. But when I unlink it the aspect ratio changes and I get an enlarged image.

Go in to the export dialogue box, choose Quicktime, then under presets, choose HD 720p. That will give you a 1280×720 quicktime file. Does that help?
