exporting a 480i mpeg2
hallo. so i’m converting a 480i mpeg2 to proreshq in order to import it into resolve. what i’d like to do is find a way to export it from resolve to a lossless or visually/near lossless format so that i can import that file into vegas and finally export it back to an mpeg2/dvd spec.
i’m brand new to resolve and all of the delivery codecs confuse and overwhelm me. is there something that can do what i’m looking for?

Export to prores if you’re on Mac. Or DNxHR if you’re on Windows. That said I don’t know what formats Vegas supports so you’ll need to pick on that works.

i’m on windows, yeah. dnxhr supports sd resolutions? i’ll check it out, thanks.
