Exporting 78 minute sequence

thanks Dave. I read on another post that iDVD only took QT files. will the file type you mentioned work in iDVD?

make a reference QuickTime Movie and drop that file into iDVD.

iDVD manual tells you how to do it.

Ok, made the qt reference file as suggested,but it’s still 6.5 GB….to big for the dvd.

iDVD will compress it further to fit on the DVD. It isn’t just copying the footage over, it is COMPRESSING it to Mpeg-2 that will make it fit.

Import the REF QT into iDVD and burn.

Hi Shane, thanks, that worked. But it wont play! Just finished burning it, which took 2 hours. Watched the preview as it burned, and the disc looks burned and almost full. NONETHELESS it won’t play. When I click “Play movie,” it just opens the title screen again. WTF?
