    I have 6 timelines each about 30 minutes in length. Each timeline’s settings are 1280 X720 59.94.
I also have around chapter markers per timeline. I need to create DVDs with this. Two problems:

    1. Compressor is suggesting that this will take about 4.5 hours per 30 minute timeline to compress these files for DVD SP. That seems waaaay too long.

    2. My first export had the video at 1 hour and the audio at 30 minutes. Why would that be?

Is there something about working with a 59.94 framerate? Don’t DVDs play back at 29.97? Is that my problem? Do I need to convert these to 29.97 somehow? How do I proceed?

    Any help would be appreciated.

This is the main reason I purchased a DVD Recorder…play out in real time from FCP via a capture card to the recorder. Realtime output.
