    Hi,
I am new to Sony vegas. I have very little knowledge of the program itself but I need to export footage from Sony vegas for use in final cut pro…simple as! I have attempted a few exports but I keep getting the same problem every-time. After I export, the video quality isn’t quite what it was in Vegas to begin with. In certain parts of the footage I get a sort of wobble around the edge of a subject, or with movement there will be the same effect. I believe it has something to do with interlacing?
Any help on correct export options is greatly appreciated.

    These are the project settings:
    project: 720 x 576 x 32, 25000i

    Properties:
    Template: HDV 720p (1280 X 720, 25000i FPS
    pixel aspect ratio: 1.0000 (square)
    Frame rate: 25.000 PAL

    cheers,
    PaLaCe.

You haven’t told us what the source media is and the settings your have told us make no sense. You project is set to PAL DV but you’re rendering to HD 720p. Are you intending to upscale SD media to HD? What format is your source?

Set your project to match your source. Make sure that you deinterlace method in the project properties is set to Blend Fields.
