Exporting 16×9 Anamorphic?
Good morning, I need help.
I am trying to export a movie out FCP.The footage was captured with DV NTSC Anamorphic Setting.
And here are my sequence settings.
720×480 NTSC DV 3:2
NTSC – CCIR / DV Anamorphic(checked)
lower field dominance
29.97
Compresssor DV/DVCpro – NTSCI am trying to make a 16×9 DVD. But, when I export the movie and watch it in Quicktime it is not 16×9!!
Please I need your help. I am really hung over. I swear I will never drink again… jebesus.

Import the movie into DVDSP and then tell dvdsp that the media is 16×9. When you create the DVD it will play back in the correct aspect ratio.

PS There is a quicktime update called the anamophizer. Just out on the apple site. -
I`ve had the same issue myself.
When I further exported anamorph from QT Pro through Compressor to another format it showed up just fine!
