Exportign Avid QT files
Hello,
I am doing a freelance project for a broadcaster who requires that the project be delivered via AVID 1:1 uncompressed qt files or AVID DV50 qt files. I work on AVID at work but I am doing this as a side project at home and I only have Final Cut Pro HD 4.5. Is there any way to export from Final Cut with these required settings? I know that there is an Avid DV setting in export to quicktime conversion but it’s not 1:1 or dv50. Is this possible? Does anyone know any way to make it possible (via another program or download)?

Hi lori,
You need to download and install the AVID codecs.

You’ll also want to know what AVID codecs he is using. I had to do this for an old AVID Meridien system…and those are legacy codecs that are buried in AVID’s site!
