Export/Burn DVD from 24p 1920×1080 DSLR footage (CS 5.5.2)
Hello all,
I have been editing a feature film on Premiere Pro CS 5.5.2; it was shot on the Canon 5D Mark II, and saved as a series of 1920 x 1080 .MOV files (audio recorded separately as 48kHz WAV files on a Zoom H4N, subbed in to replace crappy camera audio). I would like to make DVDs of the film for submission to various places. The film is 1 hour 48 minutes (108 min.) in length from tip to tail. I have Adobe Media Encoder 5.5.2 as well as Premiere; what are the best export settings for me to use? (I have Kodak dual-layer DVD-R+ 8.5GB DVDs, but can easily pick up another type if these are not compatible with your average DVD player.)System stats:

There should be a preset for that in Adobe Media Encoder and in Premiere. Choose MPEG2-DVD as the format and pick NTSC 23.976 Widescreen High Quality in the preset list. Then adjust the bitrate settings according to the media you’ll be burning it to. You can see the estimated file size under the Use Frame Blending tickbox.

Tero is correct, but I would do the following if you want some extra quality:
General quality (first slider): 5 (max)
Bitrate encoding: vbr 2 pass
Min bitrate can be set to 4
Target can be set to 6
Max can be left at 7Although you can set the max to 9, you need to leave headroom for audio. DVD, as standard format, has bitrate restrictions.
