  Export XML after the fact

  I think this has been discussed before, but I’m bumping into this issue again… If I do a render using the “Export to Final Cut Pro Round Trip” option or render clips individually, and then IMMEDIATELY AFTER that I export an XML from the edit menu using the export XML command, that XML will link to the recently exported clips, e.g. the ones with names which have “unique” individual prefixes appended to the start of the file. However, lets say I then do something else, like render a single shot the has changed, and THEN export an XML it now no longer wants to link the rendered files, but wants to link to the camera originals.

  Is there a way around this? I have a whole folder of rendered individual clips and just want to generate an XML that will link to them, is there any way to do this without re-rendering the entire thing?
