    Export XDCAM file from AVID MC 5.5 ?

    I have heard that there is a way to export an XDCAM file from AVID MC 5.5, even if you don’t have an XDCAM drive/deck. When I try I get notice that no XDCAM device is present.

    copy the contents of an empty XDcam drive to the root of a harddrive.
    This will make avid think it is an actual drive, and it will export to the CLIP folder.
