  export XD cam EX to DVD Pro

  I recently captured some footage from a sony Z1 edited fine but the process time to dvd was endless I am used to DVC Pro 50 as Quick time any body know if the new XD Cam EX would be the same as the Z1 I think it is still HDV format so not sure
