    Hello –

    Avid MC 3.0.5, Mac OS X 10.5.5

Am doing the same Export to Quicktime I’ve been doing for a few
days now on this project. But today I get:

    “Scanning for unrendered Audiosuite plugins”
although I have no audio plug-ins whatsoever.

OK, so I do a little digging, turns out I need to create a new user.
Fine. Now when I try to export what yesterday took 10 – 20 min
now literally is taking hours. This is approx 20 min DV50 mxf
    sequence going to QT h264.

I’ve mixed everything down – nothing has changed with the system
since yesterday when all was well.

Just trying to crank out a client screener and this is grinding me to a halt.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    thx,
    Jesse Gordon

click on audio suite, let it launch what it needs to and export.

Launching Audio Suite did not help with the Scanning message.
I tried this in addition to mixing down, etc. BTW, there were no plug-ins applied.

Creating a new user did make this message go away, but exports were extremely long.
Ultimately, I created a new project and export times were as expected.

    thx,
    Jesse

next time, you may just be able to close the bin your sequence is in and reopen it. Same bug as the ole “this effect didn’t render but it really did” bug that was introduced when the meridien line was killed. Still not fixed as far as I know.
