If your NLE has Windows Media Encoder as an export option, choose 2 pass vbr, 320 x 240 at about 1mbps for video and 96 kbps for audio. One inserted on a slide you can upsize as needed.
You can also download Windows Media Encoder 9 free from Microsoft…I have a vid tut on how to use it.

1 mbps will produce a VERY NICE image. May I suggest as well checking that the PC used for the presentation can play WMV 9. If this goes on a notebook with an old version of media player that is not connected to the internet the first time it plays there may be codec issues. Or a long wait while windows does its thing, and people are watching.
