  • Export using QuickTime Conversion – can I save settings?

The option to “Export using QuickTime Conversion” is missing the ability to save custom settings (beyond that of “Most Recent Settings”).

Is there a “save settings” feature that I’m not seeing? Or is there no such option inQT Conversion?

I’m running FCP 6.02 and QT 7.4. Thanks.

No, there is not. That’s why you have Compressor. QuickTime Conversion doesn’t pretty much nothing useful except exporting still images.

    All the best,

I figured as much although now I can’t seem to create the same output using Compressor as with QT Conversion. A new post is coming…

    Thanks.
