Export to tape problems in PP 1.5
I am having problems Exporting to Tape. I am exporting to a GL2, but I have no problems captureing the footage with the GL2.
When the footage is being played back it’s speed is erratic. Stopping, then going normal, then past, then pausing.
The project was orginally edited on an external HD that is connected by firewire, thinking it maybe a problem with the HD exported the footage to an internal drive, created a new project on that drive, and tried to export it from there. But there was no change.
Do I need to reinstall PP 1.5?
What other info do I need to list to help?
Any info is appreciated.

Try this following, in any order you want.
1) Re-install Premiere Pro 1.5
2) Try with a different firewire cable.
3) Try with a different firewire card.
4) Try with a different firewire deck. -
problem sloved. My secondary drive was bad. Some how that messes everything up in windows.
