    Im working in cs5. I have an Intel i7 2600k Processor. ASUS p8p67 Motherboard. 16GB DDR3 RAM. NVidia GTX570 Graphics Card.

    Im trying to export to a Canon xhg1 Camera

    During Export to Tape the recording begins, audio is fine.
    at unrelated times the screen will just drop out to a Blue Screen for a second or two. and then pick back up.

    is this a known issue?

    What are the rest of your specs? harddrives and how they are configured?

    Intel x25 160GB SSD is the primary drive

    2x 1TD Western digital 6.0gb/s in RAID 1

    To go back to your original post, since you have all new components that just have hit the market you are in the position of a Beta testor, most people I know have stayed away from the i7 2600 and associated mobos, If your dropouts are occuring at random times and no particular intervals you might see if there are any services interupting and steal time at the occurances, if regular intervals you might scrub the timeline and look for small dropouts.
