Export to QT audio out f sync
I am doing a pro bono job for a client that requires a QT output so I can bring it in to our FCP suite and output to D5. The job was edited in Premiere 1.5 and brought into CS3 on the mac. It is a HD (24p) wildlife documentary with ProRes telecine footage and graphics.
Everything is fine in CS3. I can export a ProRes HQ file and it will play fine in QT. The problem comes when I import to FCP, the sound goes out of sync by three seconds after three minutes, and 30 sec after 30 min. The weird thing is QT reports the frame rate as 23.54 instead of 23.98. FCP reports 23.98. Could this be the problem?
