    Hi all,

I’m trying to export a layered Illustrator file to Photoshop. I really need to keep the layers separated ounce it gets to Photoshop. When I export the file I get this message: Some containers in the Ai document have been flattened.

The PSD file is ends up being a single layer.

I’ve tried all the options in the export dialogue box. I’ve made sure that none of the objects have been grouped. I’ve tried saving the file to an older version. No luck.

    Does anyone have any suggestions.

    Thanks in advance

Try File / Export / in the Export-Options choose Write Layers
    and check Maximum Editability.

    Cheers

    Yep, did that, same result.

I was able to make it work by pasting the path into Photoshop, then copy and paste back to Illustrator. I had to re-color all the shapes, but was able to make it work. I figure there must have been some corruption in the file.

Thanks for getting back to me.
