i have a number of problems with my pro 1.5, but before i can work it out
or get some advice for a solution, another one crops up. the latest is
exporting to dvd and getting a dvd that that stalls at one or more points
during the program length. i have wasted five dvds today; each stalling
at a different point in time. sometimes the program will continue after
five to twenty seconds, sometimes not at all.
sony says the fact that i upgraded to pro 1.5 from the premiere standard
that came with the pc could be the problem. i don’t understand all of it,
but standard had some viao application in the standard configuration that
was lost when i uninstalled standard but was not configured in pro 1.5.
has anyone had this problem with 1.5 who solved it, or could there be a
driver that can be downloaded from adobe?
i video the talks by veterans in our world war 2 organization, add titles,
edit, and burn dvd’s for club archives as well as a complimentary copy
for the guest speaker. this has been a problem since i started using dvd
    instead of vhs tapes.
    thanks,

what kind of dvd media are you using? low quality media will skip, become unreadable and deteriorate faster than higher quality dvd media…high quality dvd media is generally from japan and singapore.

what speed are you burning the dvd’s at? burning faster than specified for the media can cause playback issues such as skips, artifacting and it not working

lastly, have you tried multiple dvd player? it is possible that the media is of lower quality and a dvd player cannot read it like it can with high quality media or that its just a compatibility issue
