  • export to compressor all exports in single “document”

I have jobs where I have up to 100 exports (1 minute videos each). The fastest (most efficient ie single encoding setup) way I have found is to:

    1. send to compressor
    2. Setting: Apple ProRes 422 (or uncompressed 8-bit)
    3. New Job with target output (settings for this job are whatever I need the final encode to be)

My issue is that every time I “send to compressor” it adds that “project” to it’s own “document”. I would prefer that they are all in one “document”. As it stands I need to unpin the documents and then drag the projects into the one “document”.

Obviously batch send to compressor would be ideal but there is no batch exporting, sending, or sharing in FCPX.

The first image is what compressor currently does and the second is what I want it to do (on a side note anyway to add custom keyboard shortcuts??

I don’t think there is a way. FCPX desperately needs a batch export option. I’ll be very surprised if it doesn’t come in the next version.
