hello everybody!
i am not an expert at all but trying to work avid out with a lot of joy.
i am having all the trouble in the world to get my sequences out of my pc, try to export in all possible ways …mp4, quickTime movie and reference, avi and in all the attemps an error ocurred, or wrong codecs or space…always something….could somebody tip me for any possibility? -

I’m not sure I’m completely following your question, but I generally don’t use the Avid to output to a different format – I use an encoding software such as “Sorenson Squeeze.” Here’s my method:
In Avid-
Render all effects in timeline
Right click on sequence in bin
Select “Export”
Under options, choose “Quicktime Reference”
Save QTRef to desktop folderOpen file in “Sorenson Squeeze” application
Encode the QTRef into desired formatHope that helps.
