    Hello all
I have a jul going to a Jumbotron
I am using FCPX but am slightly confused about the Data Rate
here are the specs they need:
    Hi-Res QuickTime file
    (Apple Pro Res codec preferred)
    • 16×9 aspect ratio
    • Minimum 3000 kbps data rate ?
    • Minimum frame size:
    854×480 pixels

What I am wondering about is the Data Rate in FCPX
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

I’m pretty sure the data rate has to do with compression. If you were going to give them H264 as opposed to Apple pro res you would want the data rate over 3000 Kbps.

I’m sure you’ll be fine exporting them standard pro res or pro res HQ

I just did one for CAL’s memorial stadium Jumbotron. You can always set the data rate using Compressor. In my case I used H.264 and 1280 by 720 30 fps and 5 kps. More or less standard for exporting to Vimeo.
