export stills for print
Hello,
A magazine company asked me to diliver them some sequence stills of a surfersmove from a surfilm im making.
With is is best exension to give them. Tiff probebly? How should i export it good for print. They are gona crip the stills(so the quality of 72 p/i stills will be ok)Thanks.

FILE -> EXPORT -> QUICKTIME CONVERSION -> STILL IMAGE
Yes, I’d then set the settings on that to TIFF. Probably your best bet.
I generally put the playhead on the frame I want and set my in and out point there before exporting. But now that I think about it that might just be an old habit. I think it just exports the frame you’re looking at no matter what your in and outs are.

But , if you are using interlaced footage, before to make the “freeze frame’ put a “de-interlacer’ filter and you will get rid af the motion-blur produced by the interlacing. Your stills will look much, much better.
