Export Stills Come W. Checkerboard
Red 4.3.1 and as I remember all vers of 4, whenever I export a pict (command shift M) unless I reset the prefs to factory, I get the checkerboard (or black) bkd of the composite window. My questions are why and how?? Thanks, peter

You can control this behavior in the Compression Settings dialogue box, which is in the menu that appears when you select export movie file. If you want to include the transparency from the comp then select a codec that supports alpha and set it to millions of colors plus.

I use either pict, png or psd and they all had the same problem…on several systems. Never used to have that problem before 4. Man it’s nice to have someone to share with about Boris. Thanks!

Maybe I wasn’t clear. Not movies, stills….there is no menu for stills. Is there?
