For some reason yet unknown to mankind (or womankind for that matter), Apple exports anamorphic stills from anamorphic timelines. You need to bring those stills into PhotoShop, or a like app, and manually make them either 853×480, 1920×1080 or 1280×720, depending on your anamorphic format, using “image size.”
