Export single clip (with handles ) from timeline for VFX dep ?
Fairly new to Avid and wondering what was the best way to send out/export one of my edited clip ( with correct tc, edit points ( with added handles ) to my vfx artist ? The project is dnxHD185 so no need to go back to the original file.
And second, what is the same workflow if my clip is in dnx36 and i need to reference to the original file, but again with the correct in/out points, handles etc )

If you need to send media (essence), drag the events into their own timeline (copy/paste, or subsequence). Then with that new timeline of just the events of VFX, you can consolidate the media with handles to a target drive then send to your artist.
If metadaa only, then for the same sequence of VFX events created in prior process, use “decompose” to create a new set of clips with defined handles, drag those clips to a timeline, then generate an EDL or AAF depending on what their system supports which will have the info they need to go back to the original sources.
