Export Settings Ableton Live to FCP X
Hi Guys,
New Here.
Been having a little issue – I have created a video in FCP X that I then exported and imported into ableton live.
What I have then noticed is that when I export the video back out of Ableton, there is a border on the top when playing back in quicktime that was not there on the original FCP export. When i then import back into FCP, there is a black border around the whole video.
I realise that few people use Ableton Live for video but if anybody has any ideas as to why this would be I would appreciate it. I am not at home to give precise resolution settings at the moment but will be in a couple of hours.

Why export the video out of Ableton at all? Just export the audio track and drop it back into your FCPX project.
