  • Export Sequence without Re-encoding

    Hi,
    FWIW, I’m used to a FCP7 workflow.
I have a sequence containing ProRes Proxy footage.
Is it possible to export the sequence to a ProRes Proxy MOV and NOT have Premiere decompress and recompress the footage?
Specifically for my question, it could be any intra-frame codec, as from the ProRes or DNxHD families.
In FCP7, if the source, sequence and export codecs (and other settings) all matched (with an intra-frame codec), the FCP would not re-encode the footage, but rather copy the appropriate frames from the source to the export MOV.
How does Premiere funtion in this regards?
    Thanks!
    John
