Export Sequence Cuts
I have captured my tape in final cut and I want to create several smaller clips from that tape. I have used the Razor blade and cut where I needed to to make each clips. There are 14 total cuts. Is there a way that I can export all the clips to self contained movies from one sequence or do I have to create a new sequence for each clip and then export it?

Hey there,
I have a much easier way for you.
1. Open up the export queue (Window > Export Queue)
2. Drag the clips either from your timeline or browser into the export queue.
3. Click the settings button in the export queue and check the Use Item In/Out box.
4. Export.You’ll have new files just using the In and Outs you assigned in the clips.

I’m in FCP 5.1.4 right now and this method works.. so I’m not sure when they “added” this or if it’s always been possible.
