I can’t get media encoder to output a pro res quicktime file any more.
Adobe updated a while back an was nice enough to delete all my presets.
The only QT preset doesn’t work right. either it won’t change the frame rate or won’t play back, or fails.
for instance trying to convert an mp4 to pro res pro editing if I use the match source it wants to use a go pro 12 bit preset. If I change the attributes it will output to 12 FPS even though I change them to 29.97.
If I tell it to match source-rewrap it changes to go pro. no way was this a go pro file. I output the file from AFX as a youtube 1080p mp4. the mp4 plays fine. what have they done to media encoder?
