I have had massive problems with my motion files randomly becoming unrendered as I am working in my FCP timeline, but I was finally able to just export the sequence to quicktime. I had a few more tweaks I thought I could do by just importing that quicktime file back into fcp on a new sequence, which I’ve done. I want to just use this quicktime file because I’m tired of the motion material unrendering and I’m on a massive time crunch so I can’t wait another 16 hours for it to re-render. At any rate, now the video, especially during quick movement of either camera footage or the motion material, looks a bit pixelated or ragged on edges where varying colors come together. I’m really out of my league here and have no idea what is going on. Does this quicktime file now have different settings that don’t mesh with the fcp settings? My fcp settings are ntsc-dv anamorphic, as was the quicktime export. Thanks for any thoughts.
