export que?
Hi,
I’m attempting to figure out a way to export multiple .aiffs in FCP or Compressor… without having to be there to start each export up. When I’m ready for export I’ll have probably close to, or more than 100 files – and even though I know audio files will go quickly… that’s still a lot of exportin’.
It looks like in Compressor you can add exports to a que, but Compressor doesn’t appear to like just audio files for some reason.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

By crackie there is in fact a little known function in FCP called the batch export. It’s kind of weird the first time you use it, but once you do, you will use it all the time. The weird thing is that you have to do it from the browser. You can set ins and outs the choose the timeline and select batch export by either right clicking on the timeline in the browser and choosing batch export form the list, or choose File > Batch Export. You will have to duplicate timelines if you need multiple exports from within one timeline (that’s the weird part).
The FCp manual explains it pretty well. Go to Help > Final Cut Pro User Manual and then type batch export in the search window.
