  Export QT & Render Crash

  I’m having trouble exporting a DV feature which currently runs 92 minutes. It has 10 video layers and 4 audio players which have been placed on another sequence (not nested) and a global broadcast filter applied. It was all rendered and plays OK. When I attempted to export as a non-self contained QT movie (not exported to Compressor) within 1 minute FCP crashes. I also tried to export a self contained QT movie with the same results. Also, I attempted to export to Compressor choosing a DVD option and the audio compresses but crashes FCP when the video tries to compress.

  What I’ve done so far:

  repaired permissions
  dumped preferences
  dumped all render files

  Now when I try to select all in the multi layered sequence and render FCP crashes after about 60 seconds. Do I have a corrupt file? I’ve been selecting a few pieces of the sequence and rendering them and that seems OK except that if I hit option R vs. apple R, FCP crashes immediately. Also, when I render in larger chunks FCP seems to crash. I’m left with rendering small pieces of the sequence.
