Export QT for streaming server from AVID
Hello All-
I am having difficulties exporting a QT for our streaming server, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this.
I am on MCA 1.8.4 on Mac OS X 10.4.2. G5 Dual 2.0. I have tried H264 Codec, Sorenson 3, FastExport, Optimize for Web, you name it. Once on the server it gets an unsupported format error. Otherwise it plays fine on the desktop, from a firewire, etc. If the same file is compressed using compressor it will work. This is a work around I can use, but it is inconvenient, since compressor is not on the avids. I have tried new user settings, new project to no avail. Any ideas?
