Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Export ProRes 444 from LiveType to FCP X

    What’s LiveType? You mean the old legacy app? No idea if it sees ProRes as a QT component considering its age.

    LIvetype – now there’s a blast from the past. I’m surprised it even runs, let alone outputs anything.

    You might try rendering to Animation Codec instead of Prores 444. Or you might try telling FCPX to override the alpha setting on the ProRes 444 file on the off chance it’s misinterpreting the footage.
