Export problems
I cant see my final project on PC, made with FCP 7.0.1/ iMac
Here are the steps:
I export the project using compressor chosing format from APPLE-DVD- DVD BEST QUALITY and then i use DVD STUDIO PRO FOR BURN ON DVD
My questions is how to export keeping the best quality and also to be see it on PC, without being necesary to install codecs or another player
The project was made NTSC HQ using Sony HVR-Z7Another think that was hapenn with an other project when i exportes is that also i couldnt see it to PC BUT also to another iMac.
I use the same FCP 7 export using quick time movie
For this project I use Sony PMW-EX3, PAL

When you say “your project” I guess you are talking about your movies.
Without installing nothing in your PC or in your Mac, there is no way to see nothing Darius.
At least you need to install QT Player in the PC for you to be able to play the QT files from your Mac.
With NTSC HQ, you shouldn’t have no problem, but there are many other options apart of DV.
You have a wide choice of codec included.
I guess that with the DVDs you have no problem to play in the PC, isn’t?
