export presets in group folders
I have painstakingly created numerous groups of encoding presets for the various distribution services we deliver to. Now I need to export these presets to another user who will be doing encoding tasks on another machine. I know how to export the presets. But when I do so the folder grouping is not maintained, I just get a bunch of individual presets. I can also locate the presets directory in my user / documents folder but they are not in the group hierarchy in the finder either. Once again just a bunch of loose presets. There is a “presettree.xml” file which I hoped would contain the preset grouping data, but that is not the case. So, is there any way to copy AME presets and maintain their grouping to facilitate moving to another machine??
