Export of multi-grouped XDCamHD footage
Hello,
i am working XDCam HD Files via AMA-link in AVID MC 5.5. It is a multigroup sequence.
It becomes a problem when trying to export it: “It’s not possbile because you cannot export a sequence linked via AMA”. So i right-mouse-clicked the sequence and transcoded it to the internal DNXHD encoded .mxf files. But it still didn’t work. After a Video Mixdown it was successful.
Is there an easier way to export a sequence, for example “same as source” ? Especially when you work in a multigroup: It seems that AVID has got some problems transcoding the files included in a group. Is there a way to convert a multigroup sequence into a standard sequence?

Try “commit multicam edits” before transcoding the sequence.
