June 10, 2014 at 6:27 pmThis company in Belgium claims that is international Industry standard to deliver files for broadcast. How come? Never had to deliver this before!

June 10, 2014 at 6:30 pmit actually is the standard. Typically what you have sent before…tape or ProRes file…gets converted to this. This format is what is satellited to stations, and typically the format that airs.

June 10, 2014 at 6:33 pmSo, why I never was asked that before? Because the stations converted themselves?

I know this is an old thread, but did you get it to work? And if you DID get it to work, did you notice if the XDCAM export added black to the end of your clip? Like added 2 to 4 times as much black footage as the original clip? That is what I am dealing with and I can’t find answers. I can’t even find information on whether it happens with others.
I have used the original Sony XDCAM export, then Sony XDCAM Browser and now installed XDCAM Content Browser and they all do the same.
Thanks,
Patrick -

Thanks so much for replying… At least I now know it worked for at least one person! 😉

July 24, 2017 at 1:50 pmHey Sascha,
I know this is a very old thread. But I’m going through the same thing. Did you copy and paste your stereo track to create 8 mono tracks?
