  export mov file

  I have a timeline in Media 100 (12.6 Producer) that I exported as a DV .mov quicktime file to bring into Final Cut. In viewing the video clip in FCP, both in isolation and on the timeline, I had to increase the scale of the clip by 103% to loose the thin black space around the clip.

  Is there a better way or setting to export a file from Media 100 to be used in FCP?

  I am not sure why this even occurs. Do FCP and Media 100 use different pixel dimensions in their codecs?
