Hi, I am editing a paid gig I am trying to export to Encore on Premiere CS5. I click export media and click Mpeg 2 DVD. Then put the quality up to 5, however no matter what I do it only encodes the first shot in the timeline. I’m completely lost and need some help. Does anyone have any idea what can be tried , I really don’t want to tell my clients I can burn your DVD for you.

    Thanks

You may have the Work Area end early. And the export range is set to Work Area… Which you can set to Sequence. If this is not the problem… try Dynamic Link.

For DVD I send the timeline over to Encore via Dynamic Link. Then I just do the export coding at the end of authoring the disc.

Make sure you set “Transcode Settings” to the spec you are using in AME from PPro.

    Cheers JB
