export looks crummy no matter how I export!

Well, you aren’t going to put an 8 bit movie in a powerpoint presentation. You need to now transcode that movie to h264 or something similar that powerpoint will accept (maybe a wmv if you are using windows).

You also have to enable high quality viewing in quicktime.

If it looks good on the tv monitor, then you know the quality is there.
