  Export Keyed footage from AE to FCP

  Hello. First off, I mainly work in FCP and have not really done much of anything in AE.

  I am working on a project where someone needs to be keyed out. I did all of that in AE and now I need to get it into FCP. I exported it using quicktime movie but the background is black and not transparent.. I asked an old teacher of mine what to do and he said the following:

  “export using the render queue option. be sure to pick the animation codec, with millions of colors “+”. the + sign stands for the alpha channel which is what you are looking for.”

  I managed to figure out how to use the “render queue” option, but I have no idea how to pick the “animation codec + with millions of colors and alpha channel” Where is that located?

  Can anyone else be more specific in how to do this? I would really appreciate it.
