  Export Includes MORE Than Timeline

  This is with the most recent version of Final Cut on a Macbook Pro.

  Footage is HDV captured over firewire into an HDV timeline.

  Clip is 40 seconds long. Set in-point about 3 seconds in and drug it onto the start of a fresh timeline. Added music. Went to EXPORT -> QT Conversion and export as an Animation and PCM quicktime file.

  The resulting file’s audio starts where my in point was on the clip; from the start of the timeline, in other words. The VIDEO, however, starts at the start of the clip which is BEFORE the timeline’s start by about 3 seconds! Of course, my export is now out of sync.

  I have never seen an export include MORE footage than was in the timeline. Has anyone heard of anything like this before?
