i have a 13 min video and want to export it in 2min pieces so that the user can download what part they want to watch rather than having to download the whole video.

are there ways i can set markers where it will seperated the clip ever 120seconds?

what is the best way to do this….i am exporting in wmv with compressor.

    thanks for the great help!

You just need set IN and OUT points for every chop you want to do in your film. Them export as Reference or Autocontained movies or send the chops to Compressor from the time-line.

i actually think the simples approach is to export the 13 minute movie,

    bring it back into FCP,
chop it up into 2 minute sections,
    re-export

you could do one or other of the export processes as reference movies (not self contained)
but i think doing BOTH as ref movies would be asking for trouble.

    cheers,
