Export from PP not good enough
After tips about exporting some GoPro footage, that was editing on PP. Sequence setting were AVCHD 1080P – 59.94fps, square pixels, 1920-1080. The exported sequence is not as sharp as timeline sequence. I exported using highest match source -high bit rate, but doesn’t look as good as it could. I’m think I perhaps should have selected a better sequence setting rather than let PP decide when you drag your first edit into timeline ..?

Hi Brett,
Uncheck every single match source box and create your own settings. Start with 20Mbps/CBR progressive. How does it look?

Thanks for those tips. I think it does look better. I was also curious about exporting FPS – normally I export 25fps by default, but as this vision was shot in 59.95, I wondered if I should export it as that rate or bump it up to 60, for no other reason than 60 seems a firmer number. LOL my enduring lack of tech knowledge.

If it was shot at 59.95 then export as 59.95,
you gain no advantage by making it 60fps.Joe
